Help Me Help You (Find a Hook). FREE.

so, my darling, I’m putting together a guide (based on my course, Artful, Heart-full Blogging) about how to REALLY write a blog post.
One of the techniques I teach is how to find, rather than draft, a magical first sentence. A hook.
And I can ALWAYS find the hook buried somewhere in the blog post.
So I’d like to show examples of how to do that.
Wanna help? If you’ve got a blog post you’d like me to edit/re-write for FREE, darling, FREE, then please let me know in the comments below. The catch: I’ll want to use it here (on my blog) and on Facebook and in the forthcoming guide.
Drop the link to the piece you want me to review in the comments below, and I’ll find the hook, rework the piece, and post it with my comments and specific writing tips for you.

UPDATE: 20 responses! WHEEEEEEEEEEEEEE.
So, umm, I’ve got to close it off now. I’m overwhelmed in the very best of ways. And now I’ve got twenty pieces that need my love and attention.
But…keep an eye out. I’ll do something like this again two weeks from now.
In the meantime, here are the “befores” and “afters”. (I’ll add them as I complete them.)
- Leah Shapiro. Original post: The Realization That Changed Everything —-> Leah Shapiro, hook finding, revised by Kelly Diels
- Lianne Raymond. Original post: Are You Swimming in Ambition or Are You Drowning In It? —–> Lianne Raymond, hook finding, revised by Kelly Diels
——————————————–
It’s a virtual editing/review session with me, free.
Are you in? Yes? Then it’s ON.
xoxo

What a lovely offer! I’m new to this blogging malarkey (only 3 posts) but proud of myself for taking this step although a bit anxious about putting myself out there like this.
So here I am again taking a deep breath and leaving you a comment.
