Exactly what I needed to hear. My creative time, induced by several gallons of coffee, is usually in the morning. But this semester my mornings are consumed by work, school or both. I don't get home till late and by then I want to doze of reading. I just don't have the energy to sit down in front of a keyboard ...

So I am now figuring out ways around it. When I am monotonously operating the machines at the box factory, I write things down in my head. Rarely do I have the chance to jot them down on paper the moment they are conceived. So I write ideas in my head and scribble them down during the nearest break.

I also dedicate my boring, no-brainer classes (e.g. Bio 101) entirely to writing. That's the beauty of being allowed laptops in the classroom.
