I’m swooning. My #1 imaginary boyfriend, Malcolm Gladwell, is in town next week. He’s speaking about the flip side of Social Media at the F5 Expo.
This is timely.
He has neither tweeted, e-mailed me, nor called me to set up a coffee date. So clearly Social Media is dead or at the very least ineffective and someone (my beloved) needs to point that out.
If you were Malcolm Gladwell, what hotel would you stay at?
I mean, hypothetically speaking, of course. It’s not like I’m going to stand in the lobby and accost him. Wearing my new corset. That would never happen.
(Mostly because I don’t know where he’s staying.)
(Yet.)
Also excellent: my future ex-husband’s interview with George Stroumboulopoulos of The Hour, especially starting at 11:03.

You are utterly shameless. I like it.

Until you mentioned in this post I never realized that I too have a secret crush on Malcolm Gladwell. While I won’t go as far as saying he’s an imaginary boyfriend, I do enjoy listening to his books while driving. There’s something about his voice!

I was going to suggest that we sign up for F5Expo but hot damn, that’s serious scratch to dole out on such short notice.

I think Malcolm (and, by the way, back off sister… he’s mine!) has refined taste and is also financially supported. So he will be staying in the nicest hotel in town, I would believe.

I love your new corset! Who could resist you in that?
I must admit I’m new to Malcolm Gladwell….and the bit of the clip I watched of him with Strombo, and the first thing that comes to mind is: you are waaaay too much woman for him! Honey, don’t take it the wrong way or anything – you’re very intelligent, strong, wonderfully opinionated, and he’s a smart guy. I just think that you’re way too alive and way to sexy for him. He wouldn’t have any clue how to please you…well, you know what I mean…
Hugs and butterflies,
~T~

What he said reminds of this:
