easy. hard. same dif.

easy.

oh this is easy. it doesn’t feel like work. every day. hours a day. passion. flow. commitment. I choose this. I choose you.

hard.

I work hard. This is hard work. every day. hours a day. passion. flow. commitment. I choose this. I choose you.

the river between easy and hard is not that wide. sometimes the banks touch.

  1. For me it’s like standing in a pool of water; what’s in front and what’s behind just bleeding right together.

  2. Funny how we can write oodles and oodles of content… then you come across something like this and realize… the real truths of life find their heart beat in simplicity… keep on keepin on Kelly… I’m Diggin what you’re doing

  5. Also there is a difference between ‘hard’ and ‘not fun’, and between ‘easy’ and ‘fun’ for that matter. Passion, flow, commitment are all good signs that you are on the right path in your chosen work.
‘Working way too hard’ and ‘having the best time ever’ often go hand in hand for me when I am on the right path.

  10. Very interesting in an “I get it but I don’t” kind of way. I know what you mean, but I don’t know why it is. Hmmm…

Oh, and leave it to Josh to stop by with his “witty” sarcasm:)

  12. Ahhh, the dialectic. The unity of contradictions. Everything has this character, you know–it’s merely quantum physics ported to abstract concepts. :-)

  13. Kelly, so on the mark it’s all about perspective. Bruce Barton once said, “Nothing splendid has ever been achieved except by those who dared to believe that something inside them was superior to circumstances”. Keep working hard, keep flowing passion.

  14. [...] Discover what’s the deal with “pingbacks”!. According to Wikipedia, WP supports “automatic pingbacks where all the links in a published article can be pinged when the article is published.” That explains why I get messages about “new comments” when posting an edit that cross-references another post of my own.
