Blah Blah Blah Blogging: A guest post on ProBlogger, An Announcement, a Wackadoo New Year’s Resolution, and More

Lovers, friends, readers (and those of you in the overlap, imaginary or otherwise), it is Sunday and I’m over at my church. ProBlogger.

And pssssst, I’ve got a secret about ProBlogger. Since it is Sunday and we’re in church, let me confess it.

Darren Rowse told me he really likes my stuff and asked me if I would like to guest post once a week.

Would I? Would I? WOULD I?

Yes, I would. And I will.

So that’s my confession/announcement/brag: I’m now a weekly writer at ProBlogger.

And I’ve got a guest post up today where I wonder about why we blog (and tell you some answers) and rail against the blogging rules – but if you look closely, in that very essay I follow them all and announce my surrender.

(However, if you look even closer, you’ll notice that one of my posts today is a poem.)

So F it, indeed.

And speaking of eff it, or WHAT THE ______?!!!! (why use one exclamation point when you can use many?), I heard the most wildly surprising New Year’s resolution yesterday.

Which got me to thinking, what’s the strangest, most surprising, most doomed-to-fail, fabulous New Years Resolution, you’ve heard (or maybe made)?

I’ll start.

Last night, a man I dated briefly NINE YEARS AGO – not the one I’m pining for, alas – and had ONE coffee with six months ago, called and told me his New Year’s resolution is to marry me.

Now  you. Tell me everything.

  4. Hrm. Resolutions? Kinda over it.

I have the “nucleus” over at the moment, we’re scheming world domination (as usual). No resolutions; goals. 2010: more action, less talk.

    I’m such a spoil sport.

  5. Wow girl, that is FREAKING AWESOME news (the guest blogging thing, not the whacko marriage resolution). My envy-ometer is at the maximum level at this very moment.

Umm. Weirdest resolution? I don’t have one. I’m not that strange. BUT I did one time resolve not to worry anymore. It was probably the fastest resolution broken in the history of everything.
