I am continually frustrated by the number of parents who collect their children from me with their headphones, give the child a packet of crisps and then walk across the playground in complete silence. It breaks my heart. There's not even a 'did you have a nice day?' And then they wonder why their children can't speak properly. Kudos to you Kelly, it sounds like you are doing a brilliant job raising your girls on your own. I totally agree about the talking and LISTENING.
