Hope you have had plenty of booze and plenty of whatever makes you happy on your birthday. As for willpower vs self-perpetuating systems...it only took me 3 weeks in the Pre-writing Challenge to figure out that I needed a better plan. In the past half a week I've been organizing systems to take down ideas for future posts, planning out a posting strategy for a few weeks out and a scheduling system. Holy god does it help. Willpower didn't get me through the challenge, but it got me in deep enough to see I needed a plan. Lucky for me I had smart guys like Doolin and Aaron to get some good ideas from.
